About Us

Our History

The Battle Run Fire District was formed in 1984 (Formerly, the Prospect Fire Department formed on October 24th, 1872). The district covers 34 square miles consisting of Prospect and Thompson townships, including the Village of Prospect.

    HEN Nozzle Demonstration - August 19th, 2025

    On Monday, August 19th, 2025, BRFD had the opportunity to receive a demonstration and test of the HEN Nozzle by one of their representatives. Designed for maximum efficiency and control, HEN Nozzles allow firefighters the ability to instantly switch from a solid stream to a wide in-line blade pattern, all while maintai
